Services
Custom Milling
With our bandsaw mill, we can process your raw logs into live-edge or dimensional boards at your preferred thickness. We offer this service at $0.60/board ft., and a $30 blade fee. We can stack and sticker your lumber with your own materials, or we can provide a pallet for $40 and stickers at $0.10/board ft.
Custom Drying
After your lumber is air-dry, we can finish it off in our state-of-the-art dehumidification kiln, which dries the wood to a moisture content relative to an air-conditioned home. Our drying process includes a sterilization cycle, which kills any remaining bugs in the wood, so you don’t have to worry about them migrating into your home. Our kiln drying process costs $1.00/board ft., and we have the capacity to dry over 4,000 board feet at a time. A kiln charge cycle has a duration of a month, roughly.
Lumber Sales
We stock a variety of kiln-dried domestic hardwoods, mostly sawn from logs felled locally. We specialize in live-edge and dimensional boards, with a focus on unique pieces otherwise unavailable at local lumber lots. Our Off the Mill selection of not-yet-dry green lumber is also always available at a reduced cost.
Air-Drying Lot
After your logs are milled, we can stack and store your boards on our air-drying lot, if you lack the space, or if you want to leave it with us until your lumber is ready to be finished off in our dehumidification kiln.
Log Purchasing
If you’re interested in selling your logs, we accept hardwoods, including: white oak, walnut, cherry, catalpa, osage orange, maple, hickory, pecan and others, with a focus on larger logs under 36” in diameter. We also accept cedar and cypress on occasion. We do not pick up logs at this time, and all log sales must be brought to our location in Coffeeville. We can unload your trailer.
Millwork
In certain cases, we can provide custom millwork, such as planing, sizing, and sanding services, through our sister business, Ryan Pierce Furniture, LLC.
